NX will allow you to remotely view and control the VMWare desktop. Install NX on your system, from http://www.nomachine.com/. MacOS X users will need to install X11 (included in the MacOS X installation DVD). To configure NX for use with ReAssure:

• Start the NX client
• General tab: the host is one of the experimental reassure machines (e.g., exp03.reassure.cerias.purdue.edu) assigned to your experiment.
• The Desktop should be "UNIX", "Custom", "MODEM"
• In "settings" (press the button) "Run the following command" should be "vmware".
• Options should be "Floating window".
• Advanced tab: "Enable SSL encryption of all traffic"
