ReAssure will use a tape backup (MSL6030 12/24TB LTO3 Tape Library), currently on order. The requirements are to be able to backup the RAID array multiple times (at least 3 times, in a current-father-grandfather backup scheme). A full backup should take less than 12 hours. We plan to do full backups each week, then incremental backups every night; then that set of tapes will be stored "safely" for N-1 weeks, where N is the number of sets.
